Mathilde Felter (b. 1991, Carcassonne, France) is a French-British artist working with handwoven textiles.

Using silk, wool, linen and cotton, she creates woven pieces that investigate structure, rhythm and material behaviour through slow and repetitive processes. Her work develops through weaving, layering and interruption, allowing shifts in density, tension and transparency to emerge over time.

Balancing precision with instability, her practice explores how textiles can hold traces of gesture, movement and transformation.

She lives and works in the South of France.
